TLSS TIPS | EP.1 : All About Outsoles (English Version)

One of the key elements that TLSS continuously focuses on developing is the outsole. We believe its importance is no different from the development of upper materials.

In today’s football boot industry, competition often focuses on enhancing specific performance features whether it’s speed, ball control, or soft touch. However, there is another aspect of the game that is just as important. At TLSS, we see this from a different perspective and believe it deserves equal attention.

As a football brand, our goal is naturally to help elevate the performance of every player who wears our boots. But beyond performance, we also consider how long players are able to perform at their best.

Imagine having a pair of boots that not only allows you to fully express your playing style, but also supports your feet effectively throughout the game. Whether you play the full 90 minutes, or continue playing football as you grow older, as long as your body is ready to play, the boots you wear should support the amount of time you want to stay on the pitch.

At TLSS, our outsoles are designed in four main categories:

FG (Firm Ground) For natural grass pitches
MG (Multi Ground) Designed for multiple surfaces, especially artificial grass and hard ground
SG (Soft Ground) For softer natural grass or wet pitches
TF (Turf) For artificial turf surfaces

This is just a brief introduction to the topic.

In the next episode, we’ll dive deeper into the design philosophy behind each TLSS outsole type and explain how they are developed to support players on different playing surfaces.
